Description

As a senior IT Business Partner, you will be responsible for:

The IT Business Partner (Head, Business Area) holds the role of overseeing the efficient delivery of high-quality IT services to the client\'s business entities within a designated Business Area (BA).

Reporting to both the Senior Vice President (IT) or Chief Information Officer and the senior management of the specific ST Engineering BA, they are the central figures in ensuring IT service excellence.

Strategic IT Management: Collaborate with the BA\'s leadership to align and execute the IT strategy with the Group\'s. Manage the IT budget, vendor contracts, and a team of business partners and project managers to ensure effective collaboration with other IT teams.

Service Excellence: Ensure high-quality IT services by meeting Service Level Agreement targets. Engage with BA stakeholders to incorporate their IT needs into Group IT plans and facilitate successful implementation of Group IT initiatives.

Project Oversight: Supervise the BA\'s IT project portfolio, ensuring projects meet objectives. Mentor project managers and, when necessary, manage key programs or projects, including project planning, budget management, and resource allocation.

IT Governance and Compliance: Promote the adoption of Group IT policies, procedures, and best practices by local and overseas business units within the BA. Provide guidance on IT governance and security requirements for operational systems, ensuring compliance.

Profile

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.

Possession of a certified IT Project Management qualification.

A minimum of 12 years of IT expertise, including 5 years in a leadership role as an IT director or deputy director.

Proficiency in IT infrastructure and security systems, web/portal application development, and SAP Enterprise Resource Planning systems and processes.

A track record of successfully leading the implementation of several medium-to-large scale IT projects, each with a value exceeding S$1 million.

Bonus points for experience within an IT shared services organization in a business partnership capacity.
