Job Description



Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting up and optimizing all IT operations, infrastructure, applications, and processes, ensuring seamless integration to support business objectives.
  • Devise and implement policies, procedures, and solutions related to IT, IT Security, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP), aligning with business directions and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Risk Management and IT Security to implement Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and IT Security.
  • Manage day-to-day IT operations with a focus on operational risk and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide support for the Electronic Trading system, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with trading regulations.
  • Manage hardware including desktop PCs, laptops, TVs, printers, monitors, and phone systems.
  • Oversee the virtual desktop infrastructure, focusing on robustness, security, and efficiency.
  • Support and manage financial software platforms, including Bloomberg Terminal.
  • Act as MAS TRM Manager, aligning IT Service Management documents with MAS requirements.
  • Manage procurement of IT devices, liaising with suppliers for timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality hardware and software.
  • Provide high-level technical support and guidance across the organization.
  • Stay current with the latest trends in IT technology, particularly in cybersecurity and End-User Services (EUS).
  • Manage the IT budget effectively and contribute to strategic technology planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Over 7 years of IT management experience, focusing on End User Services (EUS), preferably in a financial services or startup environment.
  • Experience in setting up IT operations, functions, infrastructure, and applications.
  • Proficiency in managing a range of hardware devices and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
    (VDI).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and team management abilities.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience in cloud engineering, such as AWS and Azure, is a significant plus but not essential.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation in IT Service Management is a plus.
  • Experience with financial software such as Bloomberg Terminal.
  • Familiarity with MAS TRM guidelines and IT service management.
