Our Payment Technology Data Product team is a fast growing business which involves a state of art data visualization and rich UI frontend accessed directly by biggest JP Morgan clients. With ambitions product roadmap, our Payment Technology team need experts in Java and AWS to help us deliver the new capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prototype creative solutions quickly, and be able to collaborate with others and bring consensus in crafting and implementing your technical vision
• Contribute and collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions
• Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
• Building reusable components and back-end libraries for future use
• Collaborate with inter region teams and passionate about building an innovative culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Development in Java, Messaging Platforms
• Expert in areas of large scale technology migration and development
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets/toolchains
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
• Demonstrate proven track record in software development using following technologies & techniques:

o Development Stack - Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch,
o Messaging / Streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, ActiveMQ)
o Web Services: REST Services
o Database: Oracle
o Experience in SQL Queries
o Unit Testing: Junit
o Integration Testing: Experience in building integration tests Suite using mock tools (like jmockit, mockito)
o Understanding of secure coding practices.
o Willing and able to learn the business and fully understand how and why tasks satisfy business needs

• AWS certification Solution Architect/Developer
• Hands on experience in performance testing tools like Jmeter, Loadrunner.etc.
• Advanced knowledge of configuration management SCM(Git Bitbucket), JIRA, Oracle and SQL, Linux/Unix and build tools gradle/maven.
• Comprehensive understanding of different types of functional and non-functional testing phases (unit, integration, system, regression and smoke)

Good to have

• Expert knowledge on Python, Apache flask
• Knowledge of any test automation tools like Selenium/Cucumber.
• Experience in monitoring tools like Kibana, Splunk, Dynatrace etc is a plus
• Knowledge of cloud technologies is a plus
• Knowledge of Mainframe technologies is a plus
