You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain software solutions. A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge of industry best practices, proficiency in Java technologies, and the ability to deliver fully functional software that meets schedules and requirements.Roles and Responsibilities:Support continuous improvement throughout the development life cycle of enterprise-level software solutions, including enhancing and maintaining software applications.Perform system integration testing and troubleshoot software application issues.Conduct unit testing using unit test frameworks.Create and maintain documentation for software design specifications.Perform solution estimates for business requirements.Troubleshoot application issues escalated from production.Mentor junior developers in coding standards and software design.Perform code reviews.Requirements:Diploma/Degree in Computing, Information Technology, or a related field.At least 5 years of development experience in Java.Experience in Spring/Spring Boot framework.Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL.Experience implementing web services such as SOAP and RESTful web services.Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, Struts, jQuery, and Bootstrap.Experience in batch processing implementations.Implementation experience with custom frameworks, such as security and validations.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.Ability to learn new technologies quickly.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.Understanding of modern software development methodologies.Understanding of software testing methodologies, scripting, and tools.Experience with one or more full SDLCs for enterprise projects.Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.Good to Have:Experience in Agile development environments.Experience with DevOps toolchains.Experience with container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka and IBM MQ.If you are passionate about Java development and meet the requirements, we encourage you to apply and be part of our dynamic team.Our Culture and BenefitsAt DXC, we are driven by a shared commitment to creating a brighter future for our customers, colleagues, environment, and communities.
