We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an IT system engineer to be the platform specialist for the Digital Core system:

• implement Continuous Integration / Continuous Development pipelines
• support software engineers in following best practices, branching strategies, using Continuous Integration / Continuous Development pipelines
• engineer and integrate IT product onto UBS infrastructure
• propose and implement system configuration to increase system performance
• monitor usage and performance, and troubleshoot server, software, and hardware issues
• perform L3 support on the platform to identify issues, working in collaboration with other team members and where applicable with the vendor to resolve them within the agreed SLAs
• plan, evaluate, migrate, develop, implement, configure, test and roll out systems (hardware or software, networks, controls)
• analyze outages and defective states, initiating and monitoring measures to remedy them
• install SSL/TLS certificates

Your team
You will join a motivated and diverse team, co-located in Zurich and APAC. We take care of the PCM Digital-Core Distribution, serving our clients with Client Static Data in time providing Kafka Streaming, APIs and Files on a need to know base.

As part of our team you\'ll play an important role in the further evolution of our product to create value for our clients.

The PCM Digital Core-Distribution POD is looking forward to meet you and - with you skills, ideas and spirit - evolve our product in a sustainable and operable way to be fit for the future
Your expertise

• extensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating system and distribution, including package (RPM)
• experience with shell scripting, Bash and Perl
• knowledge and experience with the configuration of network devices, firewall and load balancers, and artifacts, DNS aliases
• experience in troubleshooting application running on Linux, diagnosing issue with memory, network, CPU or software
• strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and principles
• experience with following products:

o Gitlab
o Version Control System - Git
o Elasticsearch
o Red Hat Ansible
o Maven
o Java Spring Boot
