This role involves leading, designing and developing cutting edge software applications, web technology, microservices and APIs on cloud using multiple technologies. The successful candidate should have extensive hands-on development experience in building robust, highly scalable, high-performance, low latency applications that connect with web, and standalone applications to offer a wide range of functionality that can grow over time. Responsibilities: . Lead and manage the agile development team, and work closely with the Client to successfully deliver the defined requirements . Communicate and coordinate with the Client to manage project schedule, activities and deliverables . Work with the Client to propose, define and agree on technical solutions that best fit the business requirement in terms of the cost efficiency and effectiveness . Lead the implementation of applications in core Java, multi-threading, web front end, back end web services, Restful Json APIs, spring framework, microservices and OpenShift . Re-design and migrate the exiting Java applications to modern cloud-native architecture . Perform design and code review to ensure tasks are delivered on time with good quality . Facilitate technical discussions and resolve conflicts . Make technical decisions and share common understanding to motivate development team to achieve higher standard of deliverables . Mentor junior team members . Optimize the development process and maximize the output from the development team Requirements: . More than 6+ years of software development working experience with core Java, multi-threading, both web front end and backend SOAP web services, Restful Json APIs, spring framework, spring boot, spring cloud, microservices and OpenShift . At least 3 years' experience in a solution lead role driving the team excellence to deliver the solutions using Agile methodology . Sound experience in architecture design by adopting design principles and various design patterns for a secure, reliable, scalable, high throughput, low latency and operational excellent application that best fit the business requirement . Self-Motivated and passionate to build application platform with microservices architecture which is cloud ready and ready to migrate AWS, Azure or Google cloud seamlessly . Track record of leading teams to turn high-level designs into completed production-quality solutions . Competent in implementing unit testing and test automation . Competent in reviewing technical design and codes and proficient in source code versioning tools . Excellent in communication and able to manage the business stake holders for projects . Experience in working with banking applications is a plus
