The Opportunity

The Talent

Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of battery design and safety standards affecting is a plus
Experience with X-ray and CT scan for machine will be added advantage
Knowledge of battery cells and packs, SoC, Memory and power adapters/supplies
Knowledge of hardware product design and experience with dis-assembly, system and component analyses, and repair

The Job

Ability to diagnose and determine the product and component failures, and monitor the trends
Failure investigations, battery safety testing and designs of experiments.
Under supervision of safety engineers, support the development and documentation of test procedures, test plan
Coordinate with internal test/lab groups to ensure that testing across different technology space are aligned and meet standards
Using scientific methods, conduct failure investigations and dis-assembly of products
Knowledge of shipping and logistics within region.
