Duties include:

• Checks and reviews samples received, registration and reports are according to sample submission and handled with confidentiality and integrity.
• Registers and ensure that samples received are with proper documentation into in-house sample and test database in accordance with SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) within pre-determined lead-time.
• Liaises with customers on sample and reporting aspects including enquiries.
• Liaises internally with Operations, Sales, Laboratory and Quality on the deliverables.
• To provide test status information to customer service and other departments if appointed.
• Ensures records of samples and reports retention.
• Ensures the safety of staff in the workplace is implemented.
• Ensures the smooth work flow process.
• In his/her absence, his/her duties shall be covered by the relevant designees.
• Ensures that new team member is properly trained in accordance to SOPs.
• Supervises and coaches team regularly.
• Work with the BU manager for team training and improvement.
• Supports general Sample Reception, Registration of samples using in-house software according to test method and/or customer requirements.
• Supports Reports releases using in-house software according to test method and/or customer requirements.
• Assists Section Head/QA in the investigation of nonconforming work related to sample handling and reports related activities and execution.

QualificationsA candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

• Diploma, preferably a related field in Chemistry
• Experience can be substituted for education
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated, dynamic, and result-oriented
