JOB DESCRIPTION
Commissioning Planning & Leadership

  • Develop and manage commissioning execution plans for instrumentation and control systems on FPSO topsides.
  • Define subsystem boundaries and validate instrument loop drawings for commissioning.
  • Review CMS database customization, checksheet allocation, and punch list management for instrument discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with FPSO project specifications, technical standards, and HSE requirements.
  • Procedure Development & Risk Management
  • Prepare and endorse commissioning procedures, method statements, and risk assessments for instrument activities.
  • Ensure safe energization and loop-checking of instrument systems under PTW and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Represent the project during FAT for instrument packages and control systems.
  • Liaise with vendors, construction teams, and client representatives to resolve technical issues impacting system readiness.
  • Supervise and mentor commissioning engineers and technicians during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and functional testing of:
  • Control loops, transmitters, analyzers, safety systems (ESD, F&G), and automation packages on FPSO topsides.
  • Oversee subsystem completion, joint inspections, and punch list closure for handover from construction to commissioning.
  • Review and approve commissioning dossiers, red-line mark-ups, and final documentation for project close-out.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 8-10 years of commissioning experience in Oil & Gas projects, with at least 3 years in FPSO projects and in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven track record in commissioning of instrumentation and control systems on FPSO topsides.
  • Strong understanding of commissioning methodologies, FPSO project specifications, and international HSE standards.
Proficient in Completion Management Systems (e.g., PIMS-CMS, WinPCS, ProCoSys, ICAPS).
Excellent planning, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Familiar with MS Office applications and digital commissioning tools.

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5.15pm
Friday: 8:00am - 4.30pm
