Applications are invited for an open-rank faculty position in the area of [[Gerentology]] at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.The successful candidate will join the [[Gerentology]] cluster in the [[S R Nathan School of Human Development]] and will be expected to teach and conduct research in [[Gerentology]] and closely related fields.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and teach courses under the Gerontology Programmes
  • Support the administrative and internationalization of gerontology programmes
  • Conduct impactful and community based research on ageing-related issues
  • Develop and enhance gerontology programmes, including curriculum design and student mentoring.
  • Engage with community organizations, policymakers, and industry partners to promote aging-related initiatives and Gerontology Programmes
  • Contribute to university service, including committee work and academic events.
Job Requirements
  • A PhD or equivalent in Gerontology, Aging Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ageing-related research, teaching, or practice.
  • Strong publication record and ability to secure research funding.
  • Experience in curriculum development, programme leadership, or community-based aging projects is an advantage.
  • Passion for lifelong learning, community engagement, and public education in ageing.
