What the role is:This teaching role is under the School of Business.What you will be working on:- Initiate and facilitate industry consultancy project(s) in the areas of digital marketing, e-Commerce and digital content production; - Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of industry consultancies projects in digital marketing, e-Commerce, and digital content production; - Mentor and guide students participating in industry consultancy projects; - Conduct lectures, tutorials in business related subjects such as Marketing and Communications & Media Management; - Develop relevant teaching materials for subjects which include setting of assessments; - Enhance the quality of lesson design and delivery (e.g. e-learning, tutorial etc) through implementing appropriate teaching and learning strategies and methods; - Design, develop and deliver customised workshops for adult learners; - Undertake additional duties as assigned (eg academic related work, student/outreach activities) and contribute to poly-wide/school-wide events and/or activities.What we are looking for:- Academic training in business related discipline - 3-5 years of relevant experience - Proven experience as a Digital Marketing and e-Commerce Specialist with a track record of delivering successful projects - Strong digital content creation skills, with experience using software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Premiere - Proficient in e-commerce implementation, with hands-on expertise in utilizing e-commerce implementation tools, such as WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify - Adept in executing digital marketing strategies, demonstrating hands-on proficiency in utilizing tools like Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok - A team player with strong communication skills and passionate in interacting with both re-employment and adult learners - Ability to perform in a fast-paced yet collaborative work environment - Have strong industry linkages and ability to manage and support industry projectsAbout Temasek Polytechnic:Established in 1990, Temasek Polytechnic (TP) is a leading institution of high learning nestled by the idyllic shores of Bedok Reservoir in Tampines.
