Job Description
Title: Senior Legal Counsel
Location: Singapore
About the Role:
- Renewable Energy Platform
- Asia jurisdiction
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), lease agreements, supply contracts, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with project development and operations.
- Advise and manage general corporate and commercial matters
- Keep abreast of legislative changes and industry trends that may impact the company\'s projects and strategies.
- Manage relationships with in country counsels and ensure work is aligned to the organization\'s objectives
- 8 years PQE, with proven experience within the renewable energy sector across project development and construction
- Strong experience in negotiating, drafting and executing commercial contracts
- Commercial minded, strong business acumen to understand business goals and strategy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- North Asia and/or South East Asia regional experience will be advantageous.
