Job description A large healthcare partner in Singapore is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team, to spearhead future advancements in healthcare through adopting innovative digital strategies.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide practical legal guidance and assistance to the organization in a diverse, dynamic, and rapidly evolving IT services environment. This includes (but not limited to) data protection, cybersecurity, Intellectual Property and litigation matters.
- Draft, negotiate, and review various contracts and agreements.
- Manage the workflow of junior lawyers in the team
- Ensure the Company\'s activities comply with relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
- Support the Head of Legal in delivering timely legal advice to senior management on an ongoing basis.
- Hold a law degree and be admitted to the Singapore Bar
- Minimum 5+ PQE gained as an in-house lawyer in the public sector and/or private limited company or with a reputable commercial law firm, or both.
- Prior experience working on healthcare projects or in cybersecurity, data protection-related type roles are a huge plus! Experience in telecommunications also highly desirable.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering constructive and collegial teamwork within the department and with other stakeholders.
