Purpose
To ensure timely, proper receipt, handling, storage, issuing and shipment of material/product per the regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures at the following areas:
Central warehouse (SG08)
Chemical store (SG10)
Onsite customer (SG02/SG04/SG05/SG07/MSAT)
Reject Area (SG13)
Material provisioning at VS
To ensure good housekeeping of the facilities and equipment so as to keep them in good operational order in line with cGMP, 5S, safety and environmental requirements.
Responsibilities
Shipment
Inbound shipment - receiving incoming materials
Manage inbound and outbound traffic at the loading and unloading bays.
Timely and accurate data entry into SAP system
Complete SAP goods receipt checklist and conducting Marco & Micro-checks.
Generate and paste SAP identification label on the materials upon material receipt and label reconciliation
Management of non-conforming material upon receipt and the raising of inbound shipment discrepancy report
Management of rejected or non-conforming material for quarantine or vendor return
Initiate incoming stock discrepancy report and promptly escalate issue to Material Planner, requestor and QA.
Prepare and submit the material document file (MDF) to QA
Outbound shipment
Pick, pack and ship materials and semi-finished bulk products to customer.
Pre-condition shipment packaging materials, shipper boxes, cold packs and temperature data loggers, etc.
Ensure that shipper pallet and/pr RKN containers are fit for use
Accurate completion of shipment documentation and in accordance with GDP.
QC samples shipment packing and release LSP cargo.
Pick and pack material for storage at external warehouse.
Coordinate material transfer between warehouse and external warehouse.
Record material movement as per MCN/MRN/MRC/SAP
Review inventory reports, storage temperature trends, etc.
Onsite customers (SG02/SG04/SG05/SG07/MSAT)
Pick and issue materials from central warehouse & SG10 to requestors.
Manage materials returned from requestors.
Usage of validated cold chain distribution methods.
Perform loading & unloading of cargo using forklift.
Warehouse and inventory management
Central warehouse (SG08), Chemical store (SG10) and external warehouse
Maintain inventory accuracy and proper documentation.
Perform stock check, cycle count or write offs
Report stock discrepancy to superior
Report any non-conformance or unplanned event to N+1 and/or QA MM for investigation
High standards of housekeeping in workplace
Washing of in house pallets
Clean cold room, fridge and freezer as per schedule
Involvement in internal/external audits (e.g. safety, quality and finance audits)
Manage fridge, freezer, cold room, material handling equipment and ensure PM plans are carried out regularly for safety critical equipment
Perform TECO and NOCO for PRWO in SAP
Perform inspection prior to use the material handling equipment/ lift trucks and also ensure frequent cleaning
Manage packaging materials required for routine operations
Review temperature graphs from temperture and RH sensors in the central warehouse and SG10
Perform annual stock count at external warehouse
Perform workplace risk assessment (WRA)
Perform safety shower and eye wash flushing as per schedule
Perform spill kit inspection and first aid box check as per schedule
Reject Area (SG13)
Manage expired/rejected materials for disposal or vendor return
Proper storage of rejected materials, segregation of incompatible chemicals, storage of general wastes packaging materials
Contact waste company to perform waste collection regularly
Material Provisioning to VS
Zone monitoring, line clearance and daily cleaning of classified areas
Ensure proper gowning procedures are followed (including visitors who need to sign in separately)
Ensure material provisioning to VS is performed as per LSOP e.g. receiving checks, decarton, dedusting, sanitisation, etc.
OTIF material provisioning to VS based on agreed schedule
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and work with TS to rectify any issues
Contact waste company to perform waste collection regularly
Receive, handling and management of process waste
Routine cleaning of unclassified areas
Replenish ethanol, caustic, liquid nitrogen and CO2 as per LSOP
Usage of validated cold chain distribution methods
organise and handling of items in storage rooms
Maintain inventory accuracy and proper documentation
Perform stock check, cycle count or write offs
Report stock discrepancy to superior
Report any non-conformance or unplanned event to superior and/or QA MM for investigation and to assist in said investigation
Segregation of non-conforming material upon request
Timely review of temperature graphs from temperture sensors (PEMS and AMS)
Liaise with vendors for purchasing of non-SAP materials (when assigned to do so)
Involvement in internal and external audits (e.g. safety, quality or finance audits)
Carries out other related duties as assigned by N+1
Support VS shutdown activities
Annual safety rack inspection
Overall Accountabilities
Be responsible to track his/her own training requirement and developmental plan
Ensure that he/she is trained/qualified in effective LSOP prior to start of operation
"I see it, I say it, we solve it","right first time", "I master my job", annual near miss targets and drafting of WRA
Adherence to GMP/GDP principles for logbooks, checklists and other documentation
Performing SAP transactions in alignment with physical movement of goods
PPE must be worn as per relevant WRA
Work well with various stakeholders across site/outside site
Accountable for driving improvement projects
Participate in commissioning and qulification activities as required
Senior Logistics Technician
To develop oneself as logistics SME
Provide guidance and training to new employees
Guide other employees to ensure knowledge transfer for business continuity e.g. via conducting trainings
Assist Lead Technician or Superintendent in planning day to day activities and manpower
Exhibit the same responsibilities expected from Logistics Support Technician (see points 1 to 6)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Diploma/ Higher Nitec certificate in warehouse, logistics operations or equivalent
Minimum 2-4 years experience in warehouse or logistics operations or equivalent
Experience in Pharmaceutical/ Biologics or other regulated industry preferred
Forklift license with experience in operating lift trucks
Good knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations
Good safety awareness in warehousing
Quality mindset
Experience in SAP
Basic knowledge of GMP
