Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Maintenance & Facilities team in up-keeping the company\xe2\x80\x99s asset and utilities services.
• Coordinate projects on plant construction/extension and equipment installation/modifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on Smart Factory and Sustainability programs implementation/alteration.
• Diagnose and solve equipment breakdown to root cause.
• Implement multiple small-scale projects to reap benefit of low-hanging fruits while strategizing larger-scale projects in the long term to enhance equipment uptime and quality of product.
• Develop preventive/predictive maintenance program to maximize the operating efficiency of the equipment within the allocated budget.
• Repair & maintenance expense control in tandem with CAPEX proposal using data driven approach to justify repair vs replace of equipment.
• Manage and control maintenance spare parts store and inventory.
• Mentor, coach and influence team members on policies, practices and procedural compliances.
• Dealing with urgent, complex & undefined equipment problems and repairs. Propose temporary/alternative but safe solutions to enable continual operation of equipment.
• Uphold EHS initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Manage TPM Program.
• Prepare machine maintenance instructions and train maintenance technicians on these requirements. Utilize RTX CORE program for continual improvement.
• Implement programs to aid department/organization roadmap.

Requirement

• Minimally an engineering Diploma with not less than 5 years of equipment maintenance experience
• Good understanding of workshop equipment operation, e.g. plasma, Vacuum furnace, CMM, multiple axis NC, welding, FPI will be advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of systematic equipment troubleshooting methodology.
• Ability to interpret electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic/ladder logic/assembly drawings.
• Good knowledge in ProE, AutoCAD, MS Office, SAP will be an advantage.
• Certification such as EMA LEW, PUB license plumber, Six Sigma certification will be an added advantage.
