The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.
Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Tenant Operations Focus:
- Responsible for tenant management in terms of monitoring day to day operations, increasing sales performance and improving service quality
- Perform duties as tenant liaison with internal stakeholders such as park operations on M&E related matters, housekeeping and security
- Monitor day-to-day operations of the units to ensure compliance on various policies on areas of sustainability, housekeeping and security matters
- Handle tenant\'s complaints, feedback review and take remedial actions for service recovery and to improve operation process
- Establish and maintain strong and positive relationships with tenants & contractors
- Conduct regular inspections of units and perform preventive maintenance promptly to keep the lease units in good condition
- Ensure compliance of safety & building regulations and all other statutory requirements during renovation
- Perform any ad-hoc operation task as assigned by the management
Leasing and Sales Improvement Focus:
- Develop F&B and retail concepts and execute strategies and business partnership in line with Mandai\'s vision (to creating an integrated, sustainable and inclusive experience for guests)
- Conduct cold calls to prospective tenants and actively source for suitable concepts and brands for the lease spaces in Mandai
- Manage enquiries on lease spaces and follow up on site viewings
- Prepare marketing materials for tenants prepare all drawings require for viewing
- Negotiate and put-up recommendation of offers received for new and renewal leases
- Manage and administer lease documentation
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with tenants
- Maintain database, conduct competitive market research and prepare monthly reports
- Handle ad-hoc projects and assignments from time to time
- To explore and develop new upcoming commercial business streams for Mandai
Project Management:
- Oversee project management of F&B and retail development
- Ensure the completion of the project to be within budget and timeline
- Collate and understand user requirements to be included in the tender specifications
- Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders on the design and development
- Ensure that the awarded contractors carry out the works in accordance to design specifications
- Conduct regular inspection on site progress
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Business Degree or relevant
- Relevant qualification in real estate or asset management will be an advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good stakeholder management skills to engage with various unit teams within organisation
- Strong strategic capabilities combined with good analytical skills
- Experience in managing contracts e.g. lease documentation, design consultancy and fit-out services.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Possess spirit of entrepreneurship
- Ability to work as a team
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience
