Incumbent with the Healthcare Plans and Policy Directorate in Home Team Medical Services Division (HTMSD) is responsible for the planning and drafting of medical policies, directives and workflows.What you will be working on:The primary function of this role requires leading engagement with stakeholders to understand their healthcare gaps and needs to facilitate the planning of medical services e.g., vision correction services by eye surgeons, and perform evaluation to ensure planned services are optimally planned, cost-effective, and aligned with current medical practices and regulatory requirements. The role requires the jobholder to lead collaborations with medical professionals and other government agencies e.g. establishing communication channels and ensuring proper clinical and corporate governance of healthcare services. The jobholder is also responsible for ensuring healthcare directives and policies are current and in line with the Home Team\'s set up and requirements, and the planning and rollout of new policies relating to primary clinical and specialised clinical services.What we are looking for:

• Preferably a medical/healthcare professional or have previous experience working in a healthcare setting as the major activities requires excellent functional knowledge of the healthcare system, processes, and familiarity with medical terminologies and conditions \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge of healthcare landscape and systems \xe2\x80\xa2 Resourceful, independent thinker, and takes initiative \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work well in a team, positive attitude, manage timelines \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to deliver presentations and facilitate discussions \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to build networks \xe2\x80\xa2 Decision making and problem-solving acumen
