This is a full-time permanent position that will be based in Singapore.Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Manager, Business Development plays a critical role in building and growing internal and external relationships in order to meet enrolment and revenue targets, as well as nurturing our partner ecosystem for the purpose of furthering Korn Ferry Academy\'s vision and acting as a central point of contact and steward of this high-value asset.Key Responsibilities include:
  • Develop new corporate clients and driving full sales cycles through proactive sourcing, targeting and winning new custom business as well as introducing open enrolment programs
  • Build profitable and enduring high-quality relationships with talent and industry partners for program enrolment and collaboration opportunities
  • Develop business plans and lead new business development initiatives in all aspects of B2B client / market targeting, pricing, positioning and other strategic marketing activities
  • Develop and implement appropriate business development processes including prospecting, meetings, leads management
  • Ensure all opportunities are fully captured and explored; take responsibility for the coordination and production of high-quality proposals and subsequent presentations and negotiations
  • Develop in accordance with strategic priorities, partnerships and alliances with industry and talent partners that build the visibility, reputation, reach and expertise of the Academy
  • Establish strong and effective liaison with all appropriate stakeholders external and internal to maximize synergies and collaborate when / where possible
  • Devise and spearhead new initiatives, activities, events and programs for engagement between partner community and the Academy
  • Track new markets and trends, recommend new programs and services, develop innovative business development activities and help guide the long-term objectives to meet business requirements
  • Achieve annual revenue, profit, growth and new business targets as agreed with the General Manager
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of business-to-business consultative sales experience with successful track records
  • Understanding of complex business issues and negotiations
  • Ability to persuasively articulate value propositions to business and HR leaders
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-driven within a team structure
  • Experience working at a fast-paced and lean-driven unstructured environments, where goals, priorities and roadmaps may evolve quickly
  • Work well under pressure, with a high degree of dependability, adaptability and flexibility
