We invite adult learning practitioners who are proficient in curriculum development to join us.For more information on Singapore University of Social Sciences and Institute for Adult Learning, please visit or .About The RoleThe Senior Manager (Capability Development, Internationalisation) of Office for Skills-First Practices will play a key role in leading the development and implementation of capability-building programmes and focus on internationalisation strategies. The role also entails budget management and handling of day-to-day operations for the Office.What You Will Be Doing

• Assist the Director in developing and implementing capability-building programmes, including identifying the training needs of stakeholders.
• Lead the development of curriculum and instructional materials for capability-building programmes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide guidance and support to programme instructors and facilitators, ensuring high-quality delivery and learner engagement.
• Assist the Director in internationalising programmes and services, including developing partnerships with international organisations, designing cross-border training initiatives, and identifying opportunities for global collaborations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the capability-building programmes and internationalisation efforts through stakeholder feedback, programme evaluations, and other assessment methods.
• Assist the Director in managing the Office\'s budget for capability-building programmes and internationalisation efforts.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Office.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies governing the Office\'s operations.
• Stay current with trends and developments in skills-first initiatives and practices.
• Drive capability development in programme management and internationalisation.
• Champion an innovative and caring work culture.

Job Requirements

• At least four years of experience in learning and development (L&D) and business development over the last six years.
• Previous experiences in operational roles preferred.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
• The position is based in IAL\'s premises at Lifelong Learning Institute in Paya Lebar.
