The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
Strategy and Insights

  • Liaise with the CCIB EA Technology MT and other stakeholders to define performance metrics/scorecards, work with Investment Finance and TTO Finance, HR and other stakeholders to implement and report on them across both BAU and Investment Portfolio.
  • Create high quality presentation materials to support the regular communication of CCIB EA Technology Strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the CCIB T&I Business Management Community to co-ordinate the delivery of pan CCIB Business Management materials, both scheduled and tactical.
  • Drive the usage of modern reporting tools and methods championing data driven automation and analysis.
Business
Investment Portfolio
  • Drive ever higher quality portfolio financial management information and control working with Business and IT PMO teams.
  • Provide guidance to project managers and PMOs on processes, policies and standards, work with them to ensure all CCIB T&I projects meet standards in terms of accuracy, data quality and timeliness of updates.
  • Monitor the monthly and quarterly forecasting process for the Project Portfolio.
  • Monitor timesheet submission and recoveries across the portfolio, ensure people understand the importance of this task.
People & Talent
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, protecting and enhancing the Group\'s reputation and image and developing the CCIB EA Technology brand.
  • Work with the CCIB EA Technology team on communications planning and execution.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing through improvements in communications channels and content.
  • Lead people and engagement initiatives: myVoice actions, people development and training programmes, execute people and resourcing strategies plans.
Risk Management
  • Engage with CCIB EA MT to address risk and audit report findings across the relevant functions and ensure prompt action.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the country / business unit / function/ team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\'s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients, Effective Financial Markets, Financial Crime Compliance, The Right Environment.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • Embed Here for good and Group\'s brand and values in CCIB EA Technology; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures, Multiple functions (double hats).
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field.
  • PMP or other recognised Project Management certification is an advantage.
  • 8 years\' experience in a similar Portfolio Management role, managing large budgets and risks.
  • Ability to operate independently or in lean teams.
  • Experienced in management level presentations.
  • Experienced in executing people initiatives (e.g., learning and development, location strategy) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical ability.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills.
  • Advanced MS Office skills: MS Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
  • Experience with modern BI tools such as Tableau, PowerQuery and Power BI.
  • Previous experience in the banking industry is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Agile Software delivery methods.
