We are looking for a committed and experienced Senior Manager, Clinical & Strategic Solutions Marketing to be based in our Singapore office. This position will report to the Senior Director, Marketing Asia Pacific Japan and India (APJI). The role will cover the Asia Pacific Japan and India region.
Responsibilities
Builds the clinical marketing strategy for the APJI region to engage stakeholders beyond Radiation Therapy \xe2\x80\x93 to surgeons, medical oncologists, patients, and other key stakeholders.
Collaborate with the clinical research team to incorporate clinical evidence into marketing materials, ensuring the scientific accuracy and relevance of our product messaging.
Develop educational programs for internal teams. Focus on building clinical marketing and selling competencies among product managers and sales teams, enhancing their ability to communicate product value effectively.
Develops projects and programs in partnership with region product marketing managers and country marketing teams for therapy advancement (3DCRT to IMRT/VMAT, SRS).
Leads initiatives around forming and organizing the regional Clinical advisory Board meetings and plays a key role in initiating the country clinical advisory boards along with country marketing teams.
Supports region product marketing teams in developing regional strategic marketing plan including tactical execution plan.
Collaborates with global teams and other region marketing teams to learn from and adapt/ implement best practices within APJI GEO.
Is the owner of key marketing processes such as strategic marketing plan-based program budgeting, region new product launch process, competitive insights and VOC gathering processes. Learns from industry best practices in new product launch process and implements within APJI.
Monitors the development of business plans, assesses market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue, and market share.
Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.
Develops marketing tools for successful product introductions working closely with product marketing managers. Develops robust, collaborative process to communicate customer feedback to global engineering, manufacturing, and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
Co-lead key customer and stakeholder engagement programs along with stakeholder development team and execute region wide initiatives in place.
Should have potential to grow into a people management role.
Requirements:
Masters degree or equivalent.
Background or experience in fields related to radiation or other oncology areas strongly preferred. Technical background (Medical degree or oncology experience will be a strong advantage).
At least 10 years of solid relevant working experience, preferably with a few years in regional or global context in healthcare MNCs.
5+ years of diagnostic/ device/ and/or pharmaceutical experience is required.
Experience in product marketing (downstream).
Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage, develop and lead a diverse group across various locations.
Knowledge, experience and understanding of working within the Asia Pacific markets.
Strong customer-focused mindset.
Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Able to communicate effectively with people from different levels, and across different functions.
Individual contributor, but will need to collaborate closely with multiple functions, and where necessary, to take the lead in managing communications.
Proactive with good leadership and organizational, presentation skills.
Natural collaborative work ethic and approach.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Willing to travel.
Essential Skills
Strategic Marketing experience and strategic thinking.
Experience working in healthcare MNCs in medical devices or diagnostics industry.
Prior team management and leadership experience.
Believes and demonstrates cultural values of inclusiveness, leading change, and collaboration across boundaries.
Experience with healthcare downstream product management (but this won\xe2\x80\x99t be part of their job scope).
Prior experience in both sales and marketing roles.
Has experience working directly with physicians (e.g.: surgeons, oncologists, interventional radiologists, cardiologists, orthopedics).
8-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience ideal.
