Role Overview
Connected Aviation Solutions (CAS) Contracts has an opportunity for a Sr. Manager, Contracts to support its Airport Services APAC business segment as a part of a larger group of global, experienced Contracts professionals. This individual contributor role is open to remote, hybrid and onsite work; however, the role will support a team based in Singapore, so preference given to individuals in time zones that can accommodate standard working hours for that area.
The successful candidate will be subject matter expert in contract negotiation, recognized as a highly adaptive and critical thought leader and capable of commanding their seat at the table while adhering to corporate governance, policies and procedures in a fast moving and dynamic environment. This role is expected to recommend critical strategies for contract matters, advise senior leadership on matters of risk and strategic importance during contract activities, and ensuring best practices are used to achieve business objectives in compliance with corporate policies. Candidate must be highly organized, an exceptional communicator, an active team player, and capable of adapting contracting approach in environment with rapidly changing digital technologies and competing priorities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Advises and represents the organization on contract matters related to Airport service offerings.
Ensures all contractual activities are handled in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Review customer requests for proposals, identify proposal requirements, review terms and conditions, assist in proposal development and participate in securing required management approval for submittal of proposals to customers.
Drafts, negotiates and executes complex customer contracts, including intellectual property licensing and Master Service Agreements.
Recognize risk elements in business transactions and contracts and present mitigation alternatives to leadership.
Support global integrated project teams and become well versed in technical aspects of products and services.
Provides strategic analysis, recommendations, and advice related to contract matters to internal stakeholders of various levels.
Provides contracts advice on a variety of topics including data privacy, intellectual property, indemnity, and liability.
Prepares documentation for legal and contract negotiations and relationships.
Maintains accurate and organized historical contractual records in alignment with department standards.
Advises top regional leadership on contract policies, procedures, controls and compliance with regulations and requirements.
Manages high volume of projects of various complexity at one time.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR
Advance degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
Must have previous contracts experience (JD or MBA a plus)
Ability to communicate with all levels of internal / external customer representatives.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with international contracting; both commercial and governments.
