What the role is:Reporting to the Assistant Director of Corporate Communications, you will oversee the development and execution of NECDC\'s strategic communications plan. This will be achieved through development of marketing, public relations and social media strategies.- Manage NECDC communications activities across all communications platforms such as social media, mainstream media, out of home spaces, to internal and external stakeholders- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop an integrated communications plan aligned to the broader strategic goals of NECDC- Create and/or review social media content put up by agencies or in-house team to ensure alignment to NECDC strategic communications plan- Work with agencies to operationalise the social media marketing plans through content creation, scheduling and measuring of content/campaign performance- Analyse social media landscape and campaign data to supply actionable insights to optimise content/campaign performance- Work with agencies to operationalise the media relations plans through media pitching and media engagement- Provides talking points, draft speeches and relevant media materials for Mayor and spokespersons.- Partner and engage with constituencies within the North East District, as well as any other relevant partners, for cross-communications support.- Manages communication budget, execute project tactical plansAbout People\'s Association:The People\'s Association was set up in 1960, in a time of racial and communal strife, to foster racial harmony and social cohesion.
