This role will be a key position, partnering hand in hand with Director of Marketing to develop the creative proposition for Disney Adventure in Southeast Asia. You will establish the vision and deliver creative excellence to bring this dynamic ship to life for the consumer in Southeast Asia. You have a keen understanding of omni-channel creative and a proven track record of delivering award-winning creative campaigns. You thrive on getting the greatest creative work from your agency and direct report team. You will be a crucial part of supporting the successful introduction and sustainment of Disney Cruise Line\xe2\x80\x99s newest ship Disney Adventure to sail from Singapore beginning in 2025.

The Senior Manager, Creative shepherds the creative vision for Disney Adventure. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this individual will be instrumental in guiding and managing the creative agency, creative team members and any supporting freelance partners. Upholding the Disney Cruise Line brand and establishing a creative vision that blends the authenticity of Disney Cruise Line and the distinctly Southeast Asia style. Generating world-class work to maintain Disney standards while resonating deeply with consumers in the region. Driven by consumer insights you will mine for the human truth that drives the emotional connection of the creative proposition, providing creative guidance that leads to the strongest creative concepts both big picture and tactical executions. This role will be a source of inspiration for the team, thinking creatively with ideas that drive business momentum. On the pulse of pop culture with a keen understanding of the Disney brand. Partnering hand in hand with strategy and media planning to ensure timely delivery of world class creative that motivates and moves the consumer to action.

Responsibilities:

Performing the role with excellence includes having exemplary creative skills, strong craft to drive omni-channel engagement, ability to articulate a creative vision, ability to drive forward momentum ensuring best in class creative delivered on time and in budget, strong cultural understanding, on the pulse of pop culture, keen understanding of media and social platforms and consumer engagement, thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to navigate a complex launch on an accelerated timeline.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with Director Marketing, Senior Manager Marketing Strategy and Senior Manager Media Planning to understand the overall go to market strategy, key audiences and needs for each market
  • Partner with Marketing Strategy to comprehend strategic briefs that provide clear direction to agency
  • Utilize consumer insights to underpin creative propositions that deliver on brief
  • Partner with agency creative teams to shape creative for the best possible approach considering segment and market needs
  • Partner with media agency to optimize creative for channel to drive most impactful results
  • Drive creative adaption in house for both partnership, travel trade and synergy initiatives
  • Manage daily workflow of creative deliverables across workstreams to ensure creative is both on time and on budget
  • Contribute across the team as project creative partner
  • Ensure optimal production support to deliver best in class creative in market reflective of Disney and on brand for Disney Cruise Line
  • Establish the brand proposition of Disney Cruise Line for SEA, not short of creative proposition, style guides, design approach, creative assets to drive consistency of voice across all channels hand in hand with agency team
  • Instil a passion for collaboration, teamwork and inspiration throughout the department
  • Lead team, collaborate and guide the work of creative producers to ensure all adaptation of work outside of agency is connected and consistent
  • Partner with Global Creative partners across Disney Cruise Line Marketing and Yellow Shoes internal agency for best practice sharing and brand guidance
  • In partnership with Director of Marketing collaborate with Walt Disney Imagineering to ensure creative is reflective of product experience
  • Stay aware of consumer and industry trends
  • Strong creative vision, voice, and storytelling able to convey and convince creative approach supported by consumer insight and business impact
