We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Data Risk and Controls.

Principal Responsibilities

• Defines and drives implementation and monitoring of the data governance strategy across Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia; a strategy that reflects Group data policies and frameworks, local business needs, and regulatory requirements
• Key contributor to design, improvement and on-going execution of Data Executive Councils to bring together all the key data stakeholders that can influence the outcomes for data governance, quality, and data related project initiatives to support the data strategy and unlock business outcomes using data.
• Engage with Regulators for the development and delivery of the regulatory issues or emerging requirements relating to data governance
• Partners and collaborates with Heads of DAO for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, members of the market management teams including Chief Information Officer and Chief Operating Officer and Data and Analytics teams
• Responsible for identifying, delivering, and tracking data quality and data management benefits
• Share best practice across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and partner with peers in other ASP markets to drive data governance change initiatives, enabling a data led business

Requirements

• Min of bachelors degree or relevant professional qualifications
• At least 8 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Financial Services data related regulations in one or more jurisdictions would be advantageous
• Experience in two or more of the following areas:
• Implementing risk management frameworks/ internal controls
• Testing and/or audit functions
• Project management
• Business analytics
