A key contributor to OTIS\xe2\x80\x99 Asia Pacific growth, the Senior Manager, Field Operations & Quality exhibits a deep technical knowledge of the existing installed base of Otis products as well as Mod product solutions to address the current and future modernization demands. You are a field technical expert in developing and supporting standard Mod packages, harmonizing, and localizing existing Mod products, who leads the field installation methods and efficiency improvement programs.

Job responsibilities:

1. Field organizer - establish target base hours, field organizer tools, tracking, and reporting

2. FIM - including micro instructions, special tooling, animation videos and VR programs

3. Field Turn Back (FTB) PIC, work closely with AMT coordinator

4. Product development Passport IPD member for field.

6. Provide technical support and guidance to the BU\'s

9. Continuous improvement plans for cost reduction (CR) and field efficiency improvements

10. Provide field input for installation efficiency, maintainability, quality, and safety for product development and existing product improvements

11. Participate in field improvement workshops to provide guidance to BU\'s

13. Put together training materials and programs; provide virtual training for installation, adjusting, etc.

14. Primary contact window for BU FOD for all field related topics

15. Work closely with engineering on continuous improvements through field feedbacks

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess the following \xe2\x80\x93

1. Minimum 8 years of field operations experience in the elevator/lift industry

2. Elevator/lift installation, adjusting, field engineer experience

3. Strong problem-solving skills including hands-on technical support / troubleshooting if required

4. Understanding and experience in field & quality documentation and process

Interactions:

• Regional/global Sales and Marketing group, AP leadership team, Supply Chain/Procurement, Field Operations & Quality, Regional/Global engineering groups

International travel: 20%-40% depending on on-going programs and for initiative deployment.
