What the role is:Coordinate the consolidation of PA Group financial statements to comply with operational requirements and reporting needs.
Plan, coordinate and prepare consolidation of PA Group financial statements in compliance with Statutory Board Financial Reporting Standards (SB-FRS) for audit and presentation in PA\'s annual report.
Manage the statutory audit process, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors and respond promptly to audit queries.
Perform variance analysis on financial statement line items, identifying and explaining significant fluctuations.
Compile and submit statistical or financial information returns to relevant Government Departments.
Maintain proper and accurate tracking of the various funds / schemes under PA Headquarters.
Oversee daily collections for PA Account and ensure prompt recovery of outstanding bills from various companies and organisations.
Manage the system access review for Workday
Support the constant review of financial policies to ensure compliance and alignment with Government Instruction Manuals.
Other ad-hoc duties not covered under main responsibilities and duties.
Performs other duties assigned by senior officers.
EducationProfessional Certification in Accountancy or other relevant qualification. Certified Accountant will be an advantage.ExperienceMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing.Others
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Detail-oriented, independent and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
