Oversees Fleet IT, Helpdesk Operation and Office 365 email team
He/She will supervise fleet IT, Helpdesk and office 365 email team to meet the business goal
Maintain IMO 2021 cybersecurity compliance with vessel cybersecurity policies and procedures and ensure vessel adherence to applicable policies
To work with the internal stakeholders and service providers, to identify the business needs, challenges and potential and feasible solutions (include technologies and programs will be available in the near future).
Review the current status, to identify gaps and necessary measures to integrate the Information, Communication and Technological solutions.
Analyze the effectiveness of fleet IT operations.
Implement and enforce transportation scheduling and policy changes.
Respond effectively to dynamic requirements and a changing business and technology environment.
Propose, plan, and lead efforts to improve fleet IT operation.
Review the current status and identify gaps and necessary mitigations to bridge
Pushing Information Technology Best Practice to the Fleet and integrating with Fleet Operation
Work closely with fleet training department to tailor training programs.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, software engineering or information systems.
5 – 8 years’ of experience in shipboard IT hardware/networks, and maritime cyber security
Familiar with ship/shore communication (broadband and emerging maritime communications technologies)
Familiar with ship management software, programs;
Good understanding of ship operation, maritime regulations include the developments, as well as developing maritime technologies.
Knowledge & experience of office 365 mail system admin is plus advantage
