Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis function of SingPost group. This includes developing and implementing financial models, analyzing financial data and performance, and providing strategic recommendations.

The incumbent will support VP, Group FP&A in coordinating annual budgeting, long range planning, bi-weekly forecast, cash flow forecast, variance analysis, and implementing financial performance metrics. There are project-based assignments primarily on collaboration with Office of Transformation to commence implementation of Enterprise Performance Management Platform.

About the Role

• Actively engage and develop financial models to support annual budgeting, long range plan, cash flow forecast and capital budgeting.
• Coordinate and work closely with Business Units to validate data and forecast bi-weekly financial performance using Dashboard reports.
• Ensure timelines are adhered to, issues are actively followed-up, clearly communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
• Prepare and provide data-driven analysis to key stakeholders, including Business Unit Leads and Support Unit Heads.
• Prepare Finance related deck, including monthly Audit Committee and Board deck.
• Work with VP, identify key drivers on business, develop and implement forecasting models, and sensitivity analysis to improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Ad-hoc business partnering projects primarily implementation of Enterprise Performance Management Platform.
• Depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate, the role could be considered at Senior Manager or Assistant Vice President level.

What You Need to Have

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance with professional qualification, CA or CPA
• Minimum 8-10 years of commercial experience in financial planning and analysis in logistic industry preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
• Experience in transformation, fast-paced environment is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill with high attention to details
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
