We are looking for a seasoned communications expert who will use his / her extensive understanding of internal and external communications practices to drive brand management and internal communications. This person will have a track record of success with developing brand messaging and identity, executive presentations, and stakeholder communications. As part of the Group Integrated Communications team, the Senior Manager will work closely with market communications teams, Group IR & Media Communications, Group Sustainability, Group HR and other corporate functions. He / She will possess a continuous improvement mindset, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be fully engaged as a member of a high-performing team.
Brand messaging and identity

  • Lead and oversee the planning and management of the Sembcorp brand and alignment
  • Serve as a key brand custodian to ensure One Sembcorp Voice and Identity across all global touchpoints. This includes supporting the markets in the execution of brand messaging, visual identity and logo usage across all mediums and materials
  • Provide strategic and tactical counsel to internal stakeholders on brand management
  • Assess peers\xe2\x80\x99 branding approach to ensure Sembcorp to build best branding practices
Internal communications
  • Develop and executes a comprehensive global internal communications strategy
  • Advise regional deployment of internal comms programmes at markets
  • Lead a small team in overseeing the development, maintenance and updates of internal communication platforms, including events like townhalls and leadership conferences
  • Draft internal messages or scripts for CEO and senior management for communication with employees
  • Identify ways to measure effectiveness of global internal comms efforts
Requirements:
  • At least 10 - 12 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, internal communications and driving execution of regional implementations
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in developing narratives, leadership communications, and communications strategies and in tactical execution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, respond thoughtfully and effectively to changing priorities in a demanding fast paced environmenT
  • Meticulous coupled with a strong sense of urgency and responsibility
  • Ability to create and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to lead, motivate and facilitate cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to interact well across all levels and cultures
  • A team lead who enjoys being part of a bigger dynamic team
