Job Description


Join our dynamic Global Procurement team as a Procurement Manager / Senior Manager. You will be responsible for managing our comprehensive insurance program across various jurisdictions. This role involves appointing insurance brokers, liaising with Strategic Business Units (SBUs), optimizing insurance program structures, and ensuring accurate policy wordings. You will also monitor claims, provide risk mitigation advice, and support investment teams on insurance matters.Key Responsibilities:

  • Appoint insurance brokers through RFP for insurance programs in Singapore and Rest of the World (ROW).
  • Liaise with SBUs for insurance renewal information submission and organize renewal of both General Line and Financial Line insurance programs in Singapore and ROW.
  • Lead the optimization of insurance program structures for coverage improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Thoroughly check insurance policies and coordinate with brokers to ensure policy wordings reflect renewal intentions and coverage submitted by insurers before policy binding.
  • Monitor claim status and assist local operation teams in major claim settlements.
  • Work with brokers to provide risk mitigation advice to operation teams.
  • Respond to business departments on insurance coverage-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with investment teams on insurance matters for acquisitions, provide insurance premium estimations, and input insurance-related clauses in relevant transaction documents.
  • Assist investment teams on W&I insurance procurement for transactions requiring such coverage.
  • Assist with CAR insurance blanket schemes and ad-hoc inquiries from SBUs on CAR insurance programs.
  • Develop a database of insurance cost indexes for various countries.
  • Adhere to procurement policies and support procurement automation processes, initiatives, and data analytics, including reporting.
Requirements:
  • Preferred degree in business, economics, or finance.
  • Minimum of 8 years of working experience in the insurance industry.
  • CIP certification would be advantageous.
  • Possess good organization and coordination skills.
  • Prudent and a good team player.
