DESIGNATION : Senior Manager, Inventory Management

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Manager, Inventory Management is a key position within NTUC FairPrice\'s Operational Excellence & Compliance division. Reporting directly to the Director, Loss Prevention & Compliance, this role is responsible for:

• Maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring product availability across our extensive retail network in Singapore.
• Leading efforts to balance cost-effectiveness with consistent product availability, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance integrated supply planning.
• Analysing and interpreting large volumes of data, demonstrating high levels of competence in extracting meaningful insights and trends, and making informed decisions to drive efficiency within inventory management processes.

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management and/ or other relevant field with industry experience
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar capacity in retail / FMCG environment
• Profound understanding of supply chain concepts, statistical forecasting, and related processes
• Experience in demand forecasting and capacity forecasting
• Knowledge in International trade and familiarity with Distribution Centers operational routines
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills a must
• Deep analytical skills and ability to clearly communicate analysis to broad audience
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
• Familiarity with SAP F&R and/or forecasting tools such as Relex is an added advantage
• Capable of leading and assisting team members while also working independently
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Sound organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Fluent in written and spoken English
