What the role is:With an ageing population, we need to relook our aged care landscape to support seniors to age in the community by addressing social isolation, reducing frailty and delaying institutionalisation. The ageing strategy team at the MOH Ageing Planning Office drives efforts to define, plan and execute strategies to address these challenges. You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:You will work on: \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing and refining the long-term vision for Singapore\'s ageing strategy \xe2\x80\xa2 Formulating and driving action plans to enhance the care for and well-being of seniors in Singapore \xe2\x80\xa2 Working collaboratively within MOH, across government agencies and with external stakeholders for an effective Whole-of-Ministry and Whole-Of-Government approach \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring alignment with national healthcare goals and Whole-of-Government Policy Priorities.What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification in any discipline. \xe2\x80\xa2 Relevant knowledge and preferably with experience in areas such as policy formulation, project management, or programme implementation \xe2\x80\xa2 Passion for working with seniors and community partners. \xe2\x80\xa2 Public sector experience will be an advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment which requires critical thinking and decision-making skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Highly driven and can work independently and as a team Key Competencies Require \xe2\x80\xa2 Thinking Clearly & Making Sound Judgements - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to support the crafting of sound policy recommendations; ability to grasp timelines, operating context and ground realities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Learning & Putting Skills into Action - Possesses the drive and curiosity to learn and apply new skills, knowledge and new ways of working. \xe2\x80\xa2 Improving & Innovating - Ability to seek continual improvements, and to innovate and experiment while managing the risks involved. \xe2\x80\xa2 Working Effectively with Stakeholders - Ability to mobilise and rally partners and stakeholders towards a collective purpose. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
