Job Description


What the role is:As part of the Performance Management team, you will play a vital role in formulating, reviewing and administering performance management strategies, and performance ranking and promotion process within MOH to ensure robustness in our rewards and recognition schemes. You will manage the conduct and discipline process to ensure high standards of personal conduct and uphold the integrity of the Public Service. You will also be involved in managing key projects, including the implementation of Competency-Driven HR systems within MOH as well as the design, set up and implementation of platforms and processes to support the career development of our officers. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:You will manage the following key Human Resource (HR) functions: \xe2\x80\xa2 Performance Management: Oversee the performance management framework, policies and processes to ensure robustness of the rewards and recognition system in the organisation; \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct and Discipline: Manage the conduct and disciplinary process to ensure high standards of personal conduct and uphold the integrity of the Public Service ; and \xe2\x80\xa2 Competency-Driven HR: Partner Divisions to review and update functional competency frameworks, as part of the implementation of Competency-Driven HR systems within MOH. \xe2\x80\xa2 Career Development: Design, implement and review frameworks and interventions to support the career progression and career development of talents in the healthcare ecosystem.What we are looking for:

  • Education in business, human resource or related discipline. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prior training or relevant working experience in human resource or healthcare-related areas will be an added advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong team player who is able to work professionally with multiple stakeholders across the span of the hierarchy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Versatile, dynamic and independent, with strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills Key Competencies Require \xe2\x80\xa2 Thinking Clearly & Making Sound Judgements - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to support the crafting of sound policy recommendations; ability to grasp timelines, operating context and ground realities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Learning & Putting Skills into Action - Possesses the drive and curiosity to learn and apply new skills, knowledge and new ways of working. \xe2\x80\xa2 Improving & Innovating - Ability to seek continual improvements, and to innovate and experiment while managing the risks involved. \xe2\x80\xa2 Working Effectively with Stakeholders - Ability to mobilise and rally partners and stakeholders towards a collective purpose. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
