What the role is:By 2030, almost a million Singaporeans will be aged 65 and above, and there will be an increased demand for aged care services (e.g. Senior Care Centres, Active Ageing Centres, Home Personal Care, Nursing Homes). However, the care landscape is fragmented today - care journeys for seniors can be disrupted with multiple assessments and administrative procedures, affecting the accessibility of our services. The Sector Strategy and Development (SSD) team (under the Ageing Planning Office in the Ministry of Health) is at the forefront of re-imagining the senior's care journey, ensuring that seniors can receive seamless and coordinate care, and that service providers are uplifted to play such a role. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. What you will be working on:In this role, you will be involved in the policymaking, planning and implementation of the aged care sector landscape review. This will require strategic and blue-sky thinking to reimagine the care models and support for seniors, as well as an ability to work through the operational details needed to implement these strategies (e.g. finance, IT/data, planning based on projections, audits and service requirements and transitions). You can expect meaningful work that will improve the lived experience of seniors, while growing professionally through developing your policy, strategy and administrative skills. What we are looking for:
