Job Description


What the role is:The Partnership and Engagement Development (PED) team drives the development of public sector capabilities, as well as plan and coordinate Whole-of-Government (WOG) public engagement and partnership efforts. You will be part of a team which guides government agencies to develop and implement partnership and engagement strategies and programmes, including workforce development, PE competencies, training and development. You will contribute to building organisational capabilities across the whole-of-government, and will have opportunities to contribute to data-driven engagement with MCCY's stakeholders, and strengthen public trust in our institutions.What you will be working on:

  • Develop workforce planning initiatives to enhance overall effectiveness of PE officers, teams, and processes in line with strategic directions for PE (e.g. manpower allocation, talent development, structured job rotations) Use data to develop strategies for workforce planning and development (e.g. succession planning, talent attraction, career development pathways, training and development) Design and implement partnership and engagement capability building initiatives (formal, social and experiential learning) Develop and implement training programmes and measures to evaluate learning effectiveness, as well as analyse training needs Explore new methods and tools to enhance capabilities for internal and external partnerships and engagement Develop and implement a strategy for thought and practice leadership in partnership and engagement Collaborate with network of PE practitioners and academics to design and deliver differentiated capability building programmes Conduct research and development work on partnership and engagement trends and training methodologies
What we are looking for:
  • Relevant experience in market or social sciences research would be beneficial Experience in education sector, adult learning and development such as competency frameworks and design of training roadmaps and programmes (including facilitation and ability to deliver training) would be beneficial Excellent writing, communications and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities High level of initiative and willingness to learn Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes well Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently as well as in teams * Shortlisted applicants will be notified within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
