DESIGNATION : Senior Manager / Manager, Loss & Prevention

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Manager / Manager, Loss & Prevention plays a pivotal role within the Operational Excellence & Compliance division. Reporting directly to the Director, Loss Prevention & Compliance, this position is responsible for:

• Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to loss prevention
• Identifying, recommending, and implementing security systems to minimise loss of merchandise, money, or company assets
• Analysing data to identify trends and vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies
• Leading a security team comprised of investigation officers and security officers.
• Monitoring surveillance analytics to proactively identify potential security threats, and diligently oversee the investigation process, ensuring thorough follow-up and resolution of cases within established protocols
• Keeping abreast of technical developments and identify/recommend new technologies which ensure best practices and/or improve the efficiency of security operations.

The primary focus is on minimising loss and enhancing security across NTUC FairPrice supermarket locations in Singapore. This dynamic role combines strategic decision-making, data analysis, and direct collaboration with frontline departments to safeguard the organisation\'s assets and ensure compliance with loss prevention protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Security Management and/or other relevant field with industry experience
• A minimum of 10 years (for Senior Manager) or 5 years (for Manager) of experience in loss prevention and security management, preferably in the retail or gaming sector.
• Proven expertise in security technologies, surveillance systems, and loss prevention strategies.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations related to security and loss prevention.
• Experience in leading and managing security teams, with a deep understanding of team dynamics and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in data analysis to identify trends and vulnerabilities, as well as the ability to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
• Experience in collaborating with frontline departments to ensure effective loss prevention procedures without compromising customer service.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other MS office applications
• Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team of security professionals.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• High integrity and ethical standards, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Adaptability and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
