Job Description


Job responsibilities:

Performance reporting

  • Produce and own regularly distributed key performance indicator (KPI) metrics report and labor report for all key business units at Marina Bay Sands
  • Be the point of contact for ad-hoc analyses, scheduling studies, and data requests for department leaders and senior management under strict deadlines, often with little or no supervision.
  • Work with departments such as F&B outlets, Hotel, MICE, and other areas of the resort to establish performance metrics related to productivity and efficiency.
  • Build relationships with department leaders as the go-to advisor for issues pertaining to productivity metrics and ad-hoc operational analysis.
  • Create performance management reports/visualizations and provide regular analysis on operational performance - productivity, service quality, Net Promoter score & Voice of customer.
  • Understand business processes and identify data collection strategies for structured and unstructured data - ensuring reliability and accuracy of key performance metrics.
  • Actively participate in collaborative projects focused on achieving a high level of productivity and excellent customer satisfaction at scale.
Labour Management System
  • Ownership and accountability of the resort-wide casual labour management system (Kronos Workforce central), including workflow processes and labour reporting resort.
  • Ensuring the Kronos ecosystem stays reliable, accurate and up to date with changes, by formulating and executing improvement roadmaps.
  • Liaison between IT, labour vendors, finance, and operations with focus on upgrades, training, and optimized usage of these systems by the various stakeholders.
  • Analyzing the data captured in these systems to make meaningful and actionable recommendations to the business units on enhancing their Productivity and optimizing labour usage.
  • Support new technology enhancements relating to time reporting.
  • Undertake Special projects as assigned.
  • Produce and own monthly labour management reports for accounting purposes.
Continuous Improvement
  • Support the resort wide continuous improvement program called IGNITE as a facilitator and trainer.
  • Curate and update content pertaining to continuous improvement methodologies and coaching team members on toolset, mindset and skillsets that enable them to execute process improvement initiatives in their own areas of operations.
  • Provide support to key events under the IGNITE program such as annual forums, offsite learning trips etc.
  • Guide and lead project groups to solve operational improvement problems and ensure projects are completed with measurable KPI\'s and within timelines.
Skill / Job Requirements

Education & Certification
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or other analytical degree is preferred.
  • 3-4 years of previous relevant work experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Process Improvements, Project Management or similar.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced) is expected. Hands on experience of data analysis using tools like Power BI, and SQL etc.
  • Prior experience showing strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills is required.
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic and ever-changing environment while working under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Must be self-motivated, resourceful and able to multi-task.
  • Team player willing to work positively, proactively and ability to manage multiple stakeholders of various levels.
