Senior Manager / Manager, Philanthropic Strategy

Job Description


What the role is:
1. Support the Group's analytical and reporting needs, and engage stakeholders within and across teams to articulate and frame updates for senior management, the Community Chest Committee, funders and donors
2. Deliver on business management processes, such as performance measurement / scorecard-setting, and provide financial analysis, to achieve the Group's philanthropic and engagement outcomes
3. Identify process improvement opportunities and work across team to implement solutions for enhanced service delivery and internal processes
What you will be working on:
Data analytics and insights to drive transformation

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to compile, validate and maintain accurate reports and dashboards
  • Design and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports to facilitate reporting and monitoring of key indicators
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reports and dashboards
  • Perform data cleanup and transformation tasks as necessary
  • Turn data into insights and drive tactical strategy to close performance gap
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve operational processes and support change management efforts
Other duties
  • Ensure compliance of integrity in matters of people, processes, procurement and relationships (vendors / suppliers / partners etc).
  • Lead projects and assignments as and when needed

  • Structured and analytical mind with good problem identification and solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and good interpersonal skill.
  • Organised, meticulous and proactive
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Experience in finance & corporate planning functions
  • Numerical and comfortable with handling financial projection
  • Advanced aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to synthesise information and conceptualise ideas
  • Knowledge of social service / fundraising landscape will be an added advantage
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial / Budgeting and Corporate Planning roles
  • Public sector experience will be an added advantage
