What the role is:
The Research and Analytics Division drives MSF\'s research and analytics efforts, to strengthen the nexus between policy, practice, operations, research and analytics to support MSF outcomes, policies and programmes. It also drives the strategy for engagement with the external social research community beyond conducting deep research and data analytics studies, coordinating the social research agenda and building research expertise to support policymaking and programmes for MSF.
What you will be working on:
As a Senior Manager/ Manager (Research Engagement), you will drive central efforts to further MSF family\'s strategic research engagement and communications, including improving the effectiveness of the Ministry\'s communications through research. You will also undertake hands-on social research, provide technical advice on research scoping and methodology. Responsibilities of the role are as follows: \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with communications and policy divisions to develop research to support the ministry\'s strategic communications \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with market researchers, academics, researchers, and non-researchers within and outside the Ministry to advance policy thinking and support evidence-based policy formulation through the development of research ideas, collaborations and/or translation of research findings \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop research guidelines as well as improve processes and knowledge management/communications to promote research understanding and tighten research-policy nexus \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct qualitative and/or quantitative research and analysis that span a wide range of topics in relation to the Ministry\'s mission
