What you will be working on:
Partnership Development and Strategic Implementation You will work closely with Sport Singapore and key partners to develop and implement strategies to (i) rally the private sector and community to contribute to our nation's sporting development, and (ii) enhance the high-performance sport (HPS) ecosystem. These include: a. Cultivating and maintaining strong, sustainable partnerships with corporates and foundations. b. Identifying and leveraging opportunities within the sporting ecosystem to generate win-win outcomes for sponsors/ donors and beneficiaries. c. Developing measurement frameworks to track partnership outcomes. d. Analysing trends, formulating policies and execution plans, and driving projects and negotiations. e. Show ability to think systematically and understand interconnections between different policy areas and stakeholders' interests. f. Ensuring adherence to regulations, guidelines and due diligence processes for new partnerships. Strategic Policy and Programme Development You will also be involved in strategic work which includes analysing trends, formulating policies and execution plans, building capabilities in the sporting ecosystem, resource allocation, and driving projects and negotiations. Specifically, you will work closely with Sport Singapore and other stakeholders on policies and programmes for the high-performance sport (HPS) ecosystem. This includes reviewing existing policies and programmes to identify enhancement opportunities, driving strategic projects through to completion, and leading complex negotiations that advance Singapore's sporting objectives.
What we are looking for:
Work Experience and Knowledge a. Minimum of 5 years of experience in community engagement, partnership management, client relationship, business development, marketing or corporate social responsibility roles. b. Experience in developing new partnership opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and/or working with community organisations on public engagement initiatives. c. Practical experience in planning and executing small-group engagements or community events. d. Experience in engaging corporate leaders, foundations or high-net worth individuals is advantageous. e. Familiarity with the local sport or community sector is advantageous. f. Candidates with background or has a strong interest in Partnership and Engagement and/or policy will be an advantage. Competencies Demonstrated the following competencies: a. Develop stakeholder engagement plans, design engagements and conduct facilitations to achieve engagement objectives b. Review effectiveness of engagements c. Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders d. Demonstrate strategic thinking and stakeholder analysis capabilities e. Connect issues with larger system and identify inter-dependencies across issues/ domains/ agencies f. Distil critical issues and sense-make from a wide range of information, recommending effective policy solutions Behaviour Traits a. Proactive, resourceful, versatile and meticulous. b. Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to engage stakeholders across all levels. c. Resilient and adaptable in managing complex stakeholder relationships d. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
