What the role is:The Culture Pass Unit is a newly established inter-disciplinary department within the Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth (MCCY). This department is tasked with leading a groundbreaking national initiative aimed at fostering cultural engagement and participation among a targeted demographic within our community. The goal of this initiative is to democratise access to arts and culture, encourage exploration and appreciation of diverse local arts and cultural offerings, and support the growth and sustainability of the local cultural ecosystem.What you will be working on:You play a critical role in ensuring a healthy supply and diversity of SG Culture Pass-eligible events. This involves supporting applicants in positioning their offerings to meet scheme criteria while ensuring compliance with eligibility requirements. You will provide advice, foster positive stakeholder relationships, and enhance the overall applicant experience. 1. Stakeholder Support - Act as the primary point of contact for applicants to facilitate a frictionless application process by providing timely and accurate advice to guide applicants in submitting their applications. - Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders in the arts and heritage sectors to encourage and facilitate their applications. - Provide consultations to remove barriers to application by helping applicants understand the scheme's guidelines and processes. 2. Evaluation and Feedback - Analyse trends in applications to identify common challenges faced by applicants, and find ways to remove these challenges based on applicant feedback and experiences. - Manage the backend application portal and streamline application processes to support a smoother applicant journey. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of stakeholder management practices by identifying opportunities to enhance engagement and support.What we are looking for:This role is ideal for a proactive and service-oriented professional who is passionate about supporting the arts and heritage sectors and enhancing the success rate of grant applications through thoughtful guidance and support. Experiences - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in stakeholder management, grant administration, or a related role. - Strong understanding of grant schemes, eligibility criteria, and application processes. Experience with case management systems. - Familiarity with the local arts or heritage sector is advantageous. Competencies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, empathetic, and professional support to stakeholders. - Ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and develop actionable insights. Personality Traits - Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. - Innovative and adaptable approach to problem solving.
