What the role is:You will develop and drive MOH\'s sustainability strategies and action plans to achieve the Whole-of-Government\'s environmental sustainability targets. You will strive to enhance building performance and environment through the adoption of smart building technologies, AI tools, and energy-efficient applications. You will also be responsible for the management of integrated facility & engineering services that supports MOH\'s business operations and business continuity plan. You will strive to maintain good service standards and enhance productivity with the adoption of technology, automations, and AI applications. To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent people skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders. Good written and presentation skill is also a must. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:

  • You will be a key member of the MOH Sustainability Team that: - Develop and implement sustainability measures in energy, water, waste, and carbon reduction to meet the WOG targets. - Analyse consumption data, prepare proposals and presentations for management\'s consideration, and implement the approved measures. - Prepare the ministry\'s annual Resource Management Plan. - Monitor resource reduction plans of MOH and its Statutory Boards. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will oversee key facility services contracts and projects, and these include: - Implement tender procurement, administer contracts, payment claims, variations, and final accounts. - Manage facility operations and resources to maintain good service standards. - Assess and adopt smart building technologies and sustainability designs for adoption in MOH. - Oversee development projects from conception to completion.
What we are looking for:
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience \xe2\x80\xa2 A good tertiary education in a Building Engineering discipline, Contracts / Facility / Project management, or Sustainability /Greenhouse Gas / Energy management \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidates with a passion in environmental sustainability, or a certificate in Green Mark Accredited Professional, Singapore Certified Energy Management, Carbon Accounting or Greenhouse Gas Management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Analytical, and possess good writing and presentation skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good people and project management skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders. Ideal candidate should also possess the following key competencies: \xe2\x80\xa2 Thinking Clearly & Making Sound Judgements - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to support the crafting of sound policy recommendations; ability to grasp timelines, operating context, and ground realities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Learning & Putting Skills into Action - Possesses the drive and curiosity to learn and apply new skills, knowledge, and new ways of working. \xe2\x80\xa2 Improving & Innovating - Ability to seek continual improvements, and to innovate and experiment while managing the risks involved. \xe2\x80\xa2 Working Effectively with Stakeholders - Ability to mobilise and rally partners and stakeholders towards a collective purpose. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
