The Senior Manager is responsible for driving the strategic development and effectiveness of Malay Activity Executive Committees (MAECs) and PA MESRA (MAECs Council) through comprehensive planning, promotion and development initiatives. This role focuses on enhancing outreach efforts and increasing meaningful contributions from the Malay/Muslim community, while facilitating crucial partnerships within the M ecosystem, particularly with Yayasan Mendaki and MUIS.
The position plays a pivotal role in strengthening community participation, fostering collaborative initiatives, and ultimately contributing to the sustainable development and progress of the Malay/Muslim community in Singapore.
[What you will be working on]
Manage PA MESRA Operations and Governance
Provide comprehensive secretariat and logistical support to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee compliance with PA MESRA Rules and Regulations to maintain organisational integrity
Monitor financial procedures and bank account operations to ensure proper financial governance
Performance Management and Reporting
Track and analyse Key Performance Indicators for MAECs to evaluate programme effectiveness
Review and update performance metrics to ensure alignment with organisational objectives
Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Development
Foster partnerships with Malay Muslim Organisations to support M Focus Areas and community initiatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners to enhance collaboration opportunities
Coordinate engagement sessions between Malay Advisers, MAECs, and Malay Muslim Organisations
Liaise with Ministries and Government agencies to follow up on community recommendations
Budget Planning and Resource Management
Monitor Council's budget expenditure and resource allocation to ensure optimal utilisation
Review and evaluate programme effectiveness
Corporate Partnership Management
Engage and maintain relationships with Corporate Partners under the Inter-Ethnic Engagement Section
Identify and develop new partnership opportunities to enhance community programmes
Ensure partnership initiatives align with organisational objectives and community needs
Strategic Communications and Documentation
Draft and maintain accurate minutes of meetings to ensure proper documentation of decisions and action items
Prepare compelling press releases and speeches to effectively communicate initiatives and achievements to the public
Ensure all communications align with organisational messaging and objectives while maintaining cultural sensitivity

Knowledge & Skills:
Experience:
Three years of managerial experience in a community organisation. Experience in policy and operations work. Experience working with Grassroots Leaders.
MS Office literacy, good interpersonal skills
