Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

Mandai X is the growth accelerator and venture building arm of Mandai Wildlife Group that sparks, catalyses and accelerates innovative ventures in completely new domains that drive growth and impact at scale.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Reporting to DVP sales and experience development with the key scope of:

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for prospecting, selling and closing of agreements with primary focus on meeting and incentive programs.

\xc2\xb7 Identify new business opportunities, derive business strategies and build prospective pipeline to grow the share of MICE segment.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to identify business potential to develop new clients and business to expand client base both locally and regionally.

\xc2\xb7 Conceptualise and develop local corporate, meeting and social events business based on current venues. Ability to upsell and cross sell opportunities.

\xc2\xb7 Implement and execute end to end MICE process.

\xc2\xb7 Implement and execute annual sales plan addressing revenue, customers and sales activity plan to achieve the overall events sales revenue goals

\xc2\xb7 Manage day to day sales activities of the team

\xc2\xb7 Personally manage and actively supervise the management of selected key accounts from various industries

\xc2\xb7 Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests

\xc2\xb7 Maintain and update of the current and future competitor\'s performance, product enhancement, pricing and sales programs and deploys resources to efficiently optimise events sales revenue

\xc2\xb7 Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, contract issuance, customer correspondence).

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Minimum degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Events, Business Administration/Management or similar subject

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in a Hospitality and Tourism Industry

\xc2\xb7 At least 3 years of experience in supervisory role and the candidate need to be able to manage a team by successfully coordinating staff, resources, and implementing policies effectively, strong leadership skills are vital to this position

\xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated with an analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills

\xc2\xb7 Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Words and PowerPoint

\xc2\xb7 An independent and pro-active team player with positive attitude, detail-minded, able to multi-task in dynamic, fast-paced environment

\xc2\xb7 Aptitude and willingness to undertake additional projects for own development.

\xc2\xb7 Able to work on weekend for events
