Location: 28 Teban Gardens Crescent, Singapore

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the strategic plan for operations in Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei. Align the operational strategy with the company\'s overall objectives and continuously assess and improve processes to drive operational excellence

Logistics Management: Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Develop and implement a logistics outsourcing strategy, including the identification, selection, and management of third-party logistics providers (3PLs). Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PLs to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Customer Service: Develop and implement customer service strategies and initiatives to enhance the customer experience across Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei. Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement improvements as necessary.

Purchasing and Vendor Management: Lead the development and execution of effective purchasing strategies, negotiating favorable contracts and building strong relationships with vendors. Continuously evaluate vendor performance and optimize procurement processes to ensure cost efficiency and quality.

Inventory Control: Implement effective SI&OP and inventory control practices, including forecasting, demand planning, and optimization techniques. Implement robust inventory control practices, including accurate demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and effective stock management. Minimize carrying costs, reduce stockouts, and maintain optimal inventory levels across all locations.

Realty and Facilities Management: Manage realty matters and coordinate with government bodies regarding permits, regulations, and compliance. Oversee facilities management, including maintenance, safety, and security, to create a conducive working environment.

Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to ISO, IAD, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards, as well as EH&S regulations. Establish and maintain processes and documentation to support audit compliance in operations across the three countries.

Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate operational processes and identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains. Implement best practices and drive process improvement initiatives and streamline workflows in each country.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance, track progress, and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, highlighting operational achievements and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management is preferred.
  • Proven minimum of 10 years\' experience in senior operations management role, has experience in overseeing logistics, customer service, purchasing, inventory control, realty, and facilities management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams across different countries.
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain and operations management principles, with the ability to explore best practices, industry trends, and leverage digitalization and technology for supply chain optimization and process enhancement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach and proficiency in using analytical tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as SAP, ARIBA, and advanced Microsoft Excel, will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate effectively, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and compliance with EH&S regulations.
  • Availability and willingness to travel within Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei as required.
