As a Performance Analyst, you will be focused on ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of investment performance and analytical reporting for various stakeholders, that include Portfolio Managers, Client Groups (Sales and Marketing) and Senior Management.
Review performance and portfolio analytics for use in client report
Lead enhancement projects on value added reports
Answer any query on fund and/or benchmark returns, asset returns or attribution results
Attend to requests from fund managers, client portfolio managers, sales & marketing on performance and attribution
Produce peer fund comparison analysis based on Morningstar Direct
Provide support to the Transition team and the Sales team for all transition activities (onboarding of new funds, asset transfer, fund termination, etc)
Manage the performance-specific change process with our partners (includes raising change requests, follow-up, testing and validation)
Maintain the list of GIPS composites and provide assurance that the firm complies with the GIPS standards
Enhance control framework and incident management workflow
Identify and execute continuous process improvement and automation
Work closely with Eastspring teams in finalizing the implementing of Day 2 Items of FactSet System.
Participate and contribute actively to the related works of the Project, including Reporting, UAT, Parallel Run and Go-Live workstreams.
Work with the business users to understand their requirements.
Liaise with the key stakeholders for re-designing key process flows and reporting templates.
Maintain stakeholder relationships and manage expectations.
Manage and track Project timelines to ensure delivery of the Project.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the preparation of Management Reports on fund performance covering all local business units in the Asia region
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
At least 7 to 10 years relevant experience in a performance analysis, investment risk analysis or similar role
Experience in using Factset System is a plus
Vendor management skills and Project Management skills.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar field
Understanding of portfolio analysis including performance calculation methodologies and risk analytics
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with complex formulas and financial instruments (eg: derivatives)
Experience in using Morningstar Direct is an advantage
Strong knowledge of Excel, preferably in Power Query, PowerBI, SQL
CIPM or CFA is preferred (or working towards)
Language skills - English required, fluency in one or more asian languages will be a plus
