JOB DESCRIPTIONAs the Senior Manager, Project Management, you will support the delivery of large Data Centre Projects from their inception to completion, or, depending on your experience, lead our small to medium scale projects. Initially, your team will work closely with \xe2\x80\x9cTechnical Solutions\xe2\x80\x9d to manage the development of the Design, and, with \xe2\x80\x9cProcurement\xe2\x80\x9d for the LLE & Tendering of Contracts. You will then support the SPM or lead your team in overseeing the construction and commissioning of the project. Working closely with the Authorities, Consultants, Contractors and Suppliers and seamlessly working with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed Safely, to the right Quality, On Time and within Budget. Once the project is commissioned, you will support the SPM or lead the handover of the project to our Operations Teams and end users/tenants.Note that you will be based in Singapore but may be required to travel overseas for work if you are tasked to assist on overseas projects.Job Responsibilities:Lead (or assist) in the delivery of the projects and be responsible for project performanceLead (or assist) in the execution of the technical qualification and planning of pre-deals as the Head of Department shall direct. Lead and manage Deputy Project Managers and Engineers to generate project cost and planning structure for prospective deal engagementsLead (or assist) in the execution of approved projects\xe2\x80\x99 quotation and/or tendering process for the various packages such as project consultancy, contractors, nominated sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, etc in accordance with the approved procurement processLead (or assist) in the execution of approved project plans and manage Project Managers, Engineers, Site Supervisors and appointed consultants, contractors, suppliers and vendors to ensure general supervision of the project work and the management of site implementation and all project related mattersOrganize and conduct regular separate and/or combined meetings with Clients, Asset Owners, appointed consultant, contractors, vendors, etc to address all project related matters including but not limited to below:Site project management and track progress of project implementation against the approved scheduleCost reports including forecast cash flow of project expenditures, monitoring spending of cost against approved budget, forecast project expenditures, etc.Tracking and evaluation of Contractor Claims, Variations, Delay, EoT and Delay DamagesStatutory Authorities mattersLead (or Assist) in managing the inspection of the Project Works at site together with the site team and report to the Senior Project Manager or Head of Project Management promptly on any non-compliance and status updatesWork closely with the Safety Managers to ensure all construction safety requirements are met and strictly adhere toWork closely with Client, Asset Owner and Operation team on any technical issues arising from site and execute the Project Handover timely to Client, Asset Owner and Operation team respectivelyManage and execute other duties and responsibilities from time to time that are assigned by the Head of Project Management or Senior Project ManagerJOB REQUIREMENTSDegree in Project Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or equivalentMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Project Management of mission critical facilitiesExperience in managing Data Centre Greenfield Construction is ideal but experience in the construction of pharma/ microelectronics projects also highly desirableStrong leadership and communication skillsClear understanding of commercial & financial processes (Invoicing, approvals etc)Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)Very good Administration skillsBe thorough and pay attention to detailAble to work well with others and have good customer service skillsAble to use your initiative, flexible and open to changeStrong time management & work well under pressureBUSINESS SEGMENTPLATFORM
