We are recruiting for Senior Manager Regional Cargo- SEA based in Singapore.

The selected candidate will lead the overall management for QR Cargo Sales and Operations for South East Asia ensuring stable revenue and providing a professional and quality service.

Accountabilities:

Strategize, plan and execute growth of Cargo sales and operations within North Asia in line with overall airline growth, while achieving and maintaining the highest possible service levels for all customers. Study, prepare and propose new business plans for promoting Qatar Airways Cargo to contribute to revenue generation by understanding the market/ customer needs and monitoring the competitors. Define strategy to establish/ increase base-loads on each flight and develop new customer base. Define to head office cargo management the optimal way to increase sales by recommendations for capacity, routes, timing. Propose strategy to implement feeding services, where necessary. Economically plan and execute business development strategy. Set up and pursue profitability on annual business targets independently. Formulate and implement means to maximize short- and long-term revenue opportunities whilst reducing costs. Responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that help build Qatar Airways Cargo brand increase industry esteem, and establish ownership of the market place. Develop and maintain positive business relationships with Cargo industry stakeholders, governmental bodies, to cargo agents/ corporate accounts and aviation regulatory authorities to maximize Qatar Airways exposure in the market and increase awareness of QR Cargo products. Manage the regional organization and team against a clear revenue and tonnage targets. Steer, lead and direct the cargo teams (internal and GSAs) for optimum performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with minimum 10 years of job-related experience Extensive direct and indirect people management Experience in managerial role with regional responsibility Good knowledge of airline cargo products and needs of the forwarding industry Budgetary and planning experience Knowledge in air cargo operations and geography and cultures of the countries in the region Regular travel around the region is required Sales development, cargo marketing and management skills
