Job Profile Summary

The candidate is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the human resources functions for APRIL Singapore office and APRIL overseas sales offices.

  • In charge of recruitment, training and development, talent management, compensation, staff welfare and facilities.
  • Formulate HR policies and supervise policy and legal compliance.
  • Develops, communicates and implements the strategic direction of the human resources operations.
  • Regularly leads important company-wide HR initiatives.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other HR issues.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development of human capital.
  • Plays a role in engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital. This is done by nurturing a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program to ensure it is competitive in the market.
  • Develop an effective talent pipeline that will address the succession plan of the organization.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Strong communications skills, good verbal and written English.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to details.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and Experience
  • Good Bachelor\'s degree from a reputable university, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field.
  • Good track record with minimum 10 years\' experience working in HR related positions.
  • Experience in holding organisational leadership positions.
